About LLoyd W. Bokman Lloyd is the U.S. Dept. of Energy Liaison/Hazardous Materials Planner with the Ohio Emergency Management Agency and is also responsible for the State of Ohio’s Hazardous Materials Emergency Management Plan. Mr. Bokman previously worked as an Ohio EMA Hazardous Materials Planner providing planning and exercise assistance to the Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPCs) and County Emergency Management Agencies (EMAs) in the northeast sector of the State of Ohio. Before that he was a radiological emergency response planner with Ohio EMA and worked with Ohio’s nuclear power plants and their surrounding counties. Lloyd has been a member of the NFPA 1600 Technical Committee on Disaster Management since 1993 and has served as its Chair since 1998. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Akron and has previous experience as a Captain and EMT in the fire service. |
